TradeReply AI ("TradeReply AI," "we," "us," or "our") provides automated SMS lead-capture services to small service businesses ("Contractors"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in two contexts: information we collect from Contractors who sign up for our service, and information we collect from a Contractor's customers when they text a Contractor's business number and our automated assistant responds.
1. Information We Collect From Contractors
When you sign up for or use TradeReply AI as a Contractor, we may collect:
- Your name and business name
- Business phone number and email address
- Business address or service area
- Trade or industry type
- Billing and payment information
- Login credentials for any dashboard or account access
- Communications between you and TradeReply AI support
2. Information We Collect From Your Customers
When someone texts your business number and our automated assistant responds, we may collect:
- Their phone number
- Their name, if provided
- The service they are requesting
- Their general location or address, if provided
- Their preferred callback time
- The content of the text conversation
3. How We Use Contractor Information
We use Contractor information to set up and operate your account, bill you for your subscription and setup fee, provide customer support, send you service updates or account notices, and improve our product. We do not sell or rent Contractor information to third parties.
4. How We Use Customer Information
Information collected through text conversations with your customers is used solely to generate a lead summary for you, deliver that summary to you by text and email, and improve the reliability of our automated response system.
We do not sell, rent, or share your customers' phone numbers or message content with third parties for marketing purposes. This data is never used to send promotional content from anyone other than the Contractor the customer originally contacted.
5. SMS Messaging Terms
By texting a business that uses TradeReply AI, a customer consents to receive automated text messages related to their service request. Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance.
6. Data Retention
Contractor account data is retained for as long as the account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. Customer conversation data is retained only as long as necessary to deliver the lead to the Contractor and maintain service records. Contractors are responsible for how they store and use lead information once received.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted data transmission, to protect information collected through our service. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Third-Party Service Providers
We use trusted third-party providers to operate our service, including Twilio for SMS delivery, Anthropic for AI conversation processing, and payment processors for billing. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes.
9. Your Rights
Contractors and their customers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by contacting us at the address below.
10. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
